Sweden / USAVolvo Trucks Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden has announced that fleets connected through its telematics platform will have access to a new tool for locating and paying for vehicle charging from this year.

Launching first in Sweden, the new service will be open to fleets through ‘Volvo Connect’. Using the Volvo Connect application, drivers can find nearby charging stations, check their availability, and pay to use the charger. In the future, Volvo says users will be able to book charging time slots in advance. Subscribers to the service will receive a single consolidated invoice.
