Otokar presents Kent C Hydrogen and digital technologies at Busworld 2023

Belgium – At Busworld 2023, held between 7-12 October at the Brussels Expo, Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi AŞ (“Otokar”) of Sakarya, Turkey showcased for the first time a fuel cell electric bus and two digital technologies – an autonomous bus and a telematics platform – developed in-house.
The ‘Kent C Hydrogen’, a 12-metre bus with a passenger capacity up to 82, is based on the Voith electric drive-powered e-Kent range. The driveline delivers up to 410 kW of power. The onboard battery system provides up to 140 kWh energy capacity, but the addition of a fuel cell and 38kg hydrogen storage (in five tanks) extends the vehicle range to more than 500 kilometres.
