Belgium / Netherlands / Germany – Earlier this month at Busworld Europe, Dutch electric bus manufacturer, Ebusco Holding NV, based in Deurne, announced several new contracts including a deal in which the company is set to supply another twenty Ebusco 2.2 12-metre buses to Belgian transport operator, Multiobus. The low-floor buses are to be equipped with a battery pack of over 400 kWh and will operate in Tienen, Belgium. These twenty vehicles will join a fleet of 16 Ebusco buses owned and operated by Multiobus.

Ebusco also announced that a framework agreement signed last year with Germany’s largest public transport operator, Deutsche Bahn, is to be extended until 2026. This is expected to yield the delivery of hundreds of Ebusco 2.2 buses over the course of the next three years. Multiple orders have already been delivered and the buses are already operational in over 10 European cities. To date, Deutsche Bahn has only ordered Ebusco 2.2 buses, however, the contract also gives the possibility to order its next-generation Ebusco 3.0 buses.
