Belgium – At Busworld 2023, held between 7-12 October at the Brussels Expo, Tremonia Mobility GmbH, an official van conversion partner of Mercedes-Benz Group based in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, presented its first minibus powered by a battery electric driveline. 

The ‘City 45 Electric’, based on the Mercedes ‘Sprinter’ van, is a 7.4-metre vehicle with seating for up to 20 passengers. Its electric powertrain, comprising a 150-kW motor and a 115-kWh battery system, is supplied by Lithuanian company Elinta Motors, which presented its latest generation of electric drive systems at the show. The City 45 Electric has a range of up to 300 kilometres.
