Lithuanian company Elinta Motors showcases third-generation electric powertrain at Busworld 2023

Belgium – At Busworld 2023, held between 7-12 at the Brussels Expo, Elinta Motors UAB of Kaunas, Lithuania showcased the third generation of its electric drive systems for light- and medium-duty commercial vehicles. 

Elinta Motors’ electric drive system, which integrates the motor and transmission in a single package, comes in two configurations: a 400-volt product and an 800-volt one. The 400-volt system provides a power output of up to 160 kW and maximum torque of 1,700 Nm, whereas the 800-volt system provides up to 250 kW in power and up to 3,200 Nm of torque. While the former is suited for commercial vehicles on the lighter side, the latter can support applications up to 18 tonnes in gross vehicle weight.
