Webasto showcases electric thermal management system at Busworld 2023

Belgium – At Busworld 2023, held between 7-12 October at the Brussels Expo, Webasto SE of Stockdorf, Bavaria, Germany showcased its electric thermal management system, comprising of various Webasto components and designed to maximise electric vehicle efficiency. 

At its stand, Webasto presented a mock-up of a passenger shuttle “installed” with components from its wide portfolio of electrical products. These include its latest 800-volt heaters (10-12 kW), its ‘CoolTop 80-e’ rooftop air-conditioning unit, and its proprietary battery systems with integrated thermal management. This system of HVAC and battery components is controlled by a single piece of hardware, called ‘Cronus’.
