India – RPG Group of Kolkata has announced the formation of a new subsidiary company, Taabi Mobility Limited of Mumbai, Maharashtra to offer a suite of new services in connectivity and fleet management. Taabi is to offer commercial fleets a suite of specialised AI and IOT enabled software focused on bringing down the cost of fuel and improving uptime; the company uses the phrase, Software as a Solution (SaaS).

Taabi states its SaaS provides robust and reliable integration with onboard sensors and diagnostics tools of assets (vehicles) to fetch real-time analytics and to generate predictive insights using a proprietary AI model. Taabi claims that by implementing unique and advanced asset diagnosis, driver assistance, and video telematics, the software systems not only ensure cost reductions but also boost uptime, making vehicles more energy efficient. Taabi adds that through real-time tracking, AI analytics, predictive vehicle diagnostics, advanced route guidance, ADAS, and video telematics, the platform maximises energy efficiency. It also says it provides comprehensive data-driven insights on optimising fuel management for vehicles with internal combustion engines, electric vehicles, and energy-dependant logistics assets.
