Toyota launches new entry-level Hilux in Thailand

The New Toyota Hilux Champ
Thailand / Japan - Toyota Motor Corporation’s Thai distributor, Toyota Motor Thailand Co Ltd headquartered in Bangkok, launched a new entry-level pickup truck at the end of November designed to meet the needs of the country’s small businesses and consumers in terms of cost and usage.
The new Hilux Champ was first unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo during October and went on sale in Thailand, the truck’s largest single market, at the Bangkok International Motor Expo at the end of November. It is derived from Toyota’s current Hilux pickup truck, with local Thai engineers leading its development after “thoroughly researching local customer lifestyles.”
