Volvo Bus secures order for 152 double deck coach chassis

Brazil - Viação Catedral* of Brasília, Federal District - one of the largest long distance passenger transport operators in Brazil, operating in 14 states and present in the Southeast, Central-West and, mainly, Northeast regions - has agreed the purchase of 152 Volvo double deck coach chassis with Euro VI technology.
The order comprises 88, Volvo B460R 6x2 units and 64, Volvo B510R 8x2 units, all of which are to be used on long-distance routes connecting the centre of the country to other regions. Of the 152 vehicles acquired by Catedral, 150 chassis are to be fitted with Marcopolo G8 Paradiso 1800 Double Deck bodies with several different internal configurations for bed, bed and semi-bed seats. The other two units are to have bodies from Comil, the Invictus DD model.
