Sweden – Volvo Trucks Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden has unveiled a new variation on the ‘FH’ truck, featuring an aerodynamic design and boasting a fuel efficiency improvement of up to 5% compared to the current model.
Called ‘FH Aero’, the redesigned truck features a cab which has been extended by 24 cm at the front, making it more aerodynamic. Volvo claims that the new design not only reduces fuel consumption but also provides greater stability under strong winds. The look of the cab is also changed: the Volvo ‘iron’ logo has been enlarged and repositioned between the headlights.
