HVS begins testing hydrogen truck prototype

HVS medium duty hydrogen-powered truck

UK – Glasgow-based start-up manufacturer, Hydrogen Vehicle Systems Ltd (HVS), has begun performance testing of its hydrogen-powered (HFC) medium-duty truck in Glasgow, with Scottish energy systems research company PNDC. Specific testing will evaluate the electric and thermal performance of the HFC in real-world conditions. PNDC forms part of the consortium in the GBP 15 million grant-funded project from the UK government’s Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC). Ultimately, this is another step in bringing this product to market.
