Pelican delivers 1000th Yutong vehicle to UK market

Yutong E12 buses delivered to Transdev at Heathrow Airport

UK – The bus & coach division of Pelican Engineering Co Ltd, based in Castleford, UK says it delivered its 1,000th vehicle at the end of last year since it began importing buses and coaches from Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co Ltd (“Yutong”) of Zhengzhou, Henan, China nine years ago.

The 1000th vehicle was one out of 17 ‘E12’ battery electric buses which were ordered by Transdev, a private operator of public transportation based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. These will be used to transport passengers and staff at London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5.
