Wrightbus to deliver 87 battery electric buses to Arriva London from July

UK – Wrightbus Ltd of Ballymena, UK has announced that it received an order for 87 single and double deck battery electric buses from Arriva plc of Sunderland, set to be delivered to London beginning this July.

The order consists of 11 single deck ‘GB Kite Electroliners’ and 76 double deckers (‘StreetDeck Electroliners’). These will operate on various routes run by Arriva in the Greater London area.
