Demand for high-end heavy trucks in China on the rise, says Volvo

Sweden / China – The Volvo Group of Stockholm, Sweden, says there is a burgeoning market in China for its heavy truck models, particularly in the premium segment. Sweden’s Volvo Group sees growing opportunities in the Chinese heavy truck market as demand for high-end, environmentally friendly trucks continues to grow.

Michael Dong, president of Volvo Trucks China, told local reporters last month that the share of high-end heavy-duty trucks in China is growing, with owner-drivers and fleet operators increasingly opting for such vehicles because of improved reliability, comfort and smart features in their vehicles.
