UK – UK building materials manufacturer, Mannok Build Ltd, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Glasgow-based start-up vehicle manufacturer, Hydrogen Vehicle Systems Ltd (HVS), to trial its Hydrogen Fuel Cell HGVs in Q4 2025. This is a part of Mannok’s wider sustainability goals to reach net-zero carbon by 2050. After the trials, Mannok plans to assess the performance of the vehicles and explore the potential of integrating some vehicles into its fleet. In addition to the vehicle trial, the test encompasses refuelling infrastructure, finance options, government incentives and warranty coverage. HVS claims that its HGVs will be available to the market in 2025.
