Carese takes over cabin production at VWCO plant in Resende
Brazil / Austria – Contract manufacturer and paint spray company, Carese Pintura Automotiva Ltda of Resende (Rio de Janeiro State), (a subsidiary of the Pentanova Group of Gleisdorf, Austria), has been awarded a contract by Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda (VWCO) of Resende, Rio de Janeiro to build cabin frame modules for the brand's range of truck models.
Already involved as a subcontractor to VWCO, being responsible for painting Volkswagen truck cabins at the Resende (RJ) factory, Carese is to take over responsibilities for the cabin frame modules commencing April 15th, replacing Aethra Automotive Systems (which file for bankruptcy), absorbing its activities and also its employees.
