Sany partnerships aim to accelerate EV, AI adoption

China - Heavy truck and machinery manufacturer, Sany Group, based in Lianyuan in Hunan province, announced in April that it had signed several strategic cooperation agreements designed to accelerate its transition to the clean energy era under China’s Industry 4.0 regulations.

The company confirmed it has agreed to deepen cooperation with Mitsui Sumitomo Marine (China) Company Ltd, the Chinese insurance unit of Japan’s Mitsui Sumitomo Banking Corporation, and Panasonic Holdings Corporation, in the areas of battery asset management and risk control for new-energy heavy trucks, with the aim of promoting the development of a battery circular economy.
