UD begins Euro 5 production in Malaysia

Malaysia / Japan - Truck-maker, UD Trucks Corporation, based in Ageo in Saitama prefecture and now part of Isuzu Group, announced in March it had begun production of Euro V trucks in Malaysia in partnership with its local distributor, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE).

The brand’s local Euro V range now comprises the heavy-duty UD Quester and medium-duty UD Croner models, which are assembled from completely knocked down (CKD) kits by Tan Chong Motor Assemblies Sdn Bhd (TCMA) at a facility near to the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
