Lunaz is back, under a new name: Upcycled Electric Vehicle

Upcycled Electric Vehicle

UK – The previously defunct startup repowering company, Lunaz Group Ltd, based in Northamptonshire, which went into administration in March this year, is back in the truck business with a new name: “Upcycled Electric Vehicle”. CEO David Lorenz will be hoping that this rebranding will catapult the business into profitability as the company prepares to re-start conversions (repowering) at its Silverstone facility.

Initially starting in the passenger vehicle business, the company quickly moved into repowering ICE trucks, namely bin lorries under its subsidiary Lunaz Applied Technologies. Earlier this year, the holding company collapsed into administration after production setbacks whilst blaming the government’s postponement of the ban on petrol and diesel vehicles from 2030 to 2035.
