Ceres Power Holdings collaborates with the University of Liverpool in clean energy research

The University of Liverpool

UK – Ceres Power Holdings plc, a fuel cell system manufacturer based in Horsham, UK, has signed a Memorandum of Intent (MoI) with the University of Liverpool to expand research and collaborations across materials research areas that support the net-zero transformation. This, according to Ceres, will help lead to the scale and speed of the development of these new technologies and help the company develop its fuel cell technologies for power generation and electrolysers for green hydrogen. Both organisations will also look for funding opportunities for large-scale collaborative projects.

Ceres first began collaborating with the University as far back as 2014 covering numerous technology programmes within chemistry and material sciences. Two recent University successes supported by Ceres include the new Doctoral Training in Digital and Automated Materials Chemistry and the UK’s GBP 12M Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Chemistry Hub with Imperial College London.
