SinoTruk launches cab CKD assembly in Nigeria

Nigeria / China – Truck maker, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (SinoTruk), headquartered in Jinan, Shandong province, last month held an event in Lagos, Nigeria, to mark the opening of a new truck cab factory in the West African country.

The facility, managed by the company’s local distributor, Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Ltd, has a completely knocked down (CKD) production line for medium and heavy-duty truck cabins - including panel welding, painting and final assembly operations. It is understood to be the first truck cab full CKD operation in the region.
