Pelican Yutong receives orders for over 300 battery electric buses

UK – The bus & coach division of Pelican Engineering Co Ltd of Castleford, the official distributor of Chinese Yutong vehicles in the UK, has announced two major orders for battery electric buses, totalling over three hundred units.

The first order came from repeat customer Stagecoach Group, which ordered a further 158 single deck buses. With over two hundred buses from the Chinese brand either in service or on order, Stagecoach will soon become the UK’s largest operator of Yutong electric vehicles.
