UKMilence BV of Amsterdam, Netherlands has announced the location of its first truck charging hub in Great Britain, near the Port of Immingham, set to open in November of this year.

The truck charging site will be located specifically within the bounds of the Able Humber Port, just north of Immingham on the southern bank of the Humber estuary in northeastern England. According to Milence, it is a 311-hectare deepwater offshore wind and renewable energy port, with more than 1,000 metres of heavy-duty quays planned for development on 43.1 hectares of riverbed. The nearby Port of Immingham has roll-on/roll-off terminals for goods shipped to and from northern Europe. It is located next to the M1, M18, and M180 motorways.
