Volvo Trucks to integrate Goodyear fleet management software in Europe

Goodyear at the 2024 IAA

Sweden / BelgiumVolvo Trucks Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden and Goodyear Operations SA of Diegem, Belgium (the EMEA division of Goodyear Corporation) have partnered to integrate the Goodyear DriverHub application into Volvo's new My Business Apps service (subscription-based service), launching in 2024 across selected European markets. This system allows fleet operators to download various business-related apps directly to the truck's side display without needing additional devices like smartphones or tablets. This collaboration enhances Volvo Trucks' digital service portfolio, giving operators more tools to improve vehicle performance and reduce costs.

The Goodyear DriverHub app enables real-time monitoring of tyre data, providing crucial insights into tyre pressure, temperature, and maintenance needs. It works alongside Goodyear's existing tyre management solutions, such as TPMS, CheckPoint, and DrivePoint, to enhance fleet efficiency, safety, and sustainability by supporting predictive maintenance and optimizing fuel efficiency.
