SAF-Holland opens software R&D facility in Pune, India

Germany / IndiaSAF-Holland SE, a trailer components manufacturer based in Bessenbach, Bavaria, Germany, has opened a new research and development centre in India which will focus on software for SAF-Holland’s mechatronic products.

‘Tech Center India’ (TCI) is SAF-Holland’s newest global R&D facility, specialising in software development. The German company says that TCI will work initially on electronic braking systems for trailers, a product segment where the company sees “strong growth potential”. Engineers will also work on compliance with cybersecurity standards and other regulatory requirements.
