Wrightbus signs deal to supply more than 1,000 buses over three years

UKWrightbus Ltd of Ballymena, UK has signed an agreement with the Go-Ahead Group Ltd of Newcastle upon Tyne to supply more than a thousand buses over the next three years, the largest deal in the Northern Irish manufacturer’s 78-year history.

As part of the GBP500m supply deal, Wrightbus will build more than 1,000 buses for operation across Britain. Over 90% of these will be zero-emission, drawn from the manufacturer’s ranges of battery electric and fuel cell electric single and double deckers.
