Dongfeng starts assembly of Captain light truck through Go Automobile Manufacturing in Malaysia

Malaysia / China – August saw Go Automobile Manufacturing Sdn Bhd begin assembling the Dongfeng Captain Series light truck at its plant in Gurun in the state of Kedah, fusing completely knocked-down kits imported from China.

Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the local truck distributor of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co Ltd of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, a state-owned vehicle maker, is looking to strengthen its position in the Malaysian commercial vehicle market with its Captain range of light trucks with a gvw of 4 to 5 tons.
