Annual sales of Mercedes-Benz do Brasil’s electric bus chassis quadruple in 2024

Brazil – Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo, ABC Paulista region in late August announced an order for another 100 units of its eO500U battery-electric urban bus chassis from the city of São Paulo: 95 units to Sambaíba Transportes Urbanos for operation in the North Zone of the capital; three units to Viação Santa Brígida and two to Viação Gato Preto, which operate in the West and Northwest Zones. Deliveries will take place between the end of this year and the beginning of 2025 and will be manufactured on Production Line 4.0 at its plant in São Bernardo do Campo.
