Bosch strengthens CV components operations in China

Bosch inaugurates new plant under its UAES joint venture

China / Germany - Bosch Mobility Solutions, the automotive components division of Germany’s Robert Bosch GmbH - headquartered in Stuttgart, inaugurated two new plants through its subsidiary operations in China in October, further strengthening the company’s commitment to the world's largest automotive market. The new plants are expected to enhance Bosch’s position in the country’s rapidly expanding new energy vehicle (NEV) supply chain.

One subsidiary, a joint venture, United Automotive Electronic Systems Co. Ltd* (UAES), officially opened the Taicang phase III plant located near Shanghai, with commercial production of electric vehicle (EV) components scheduled to begin in early 2025. The plant will manufacture electric motors and Bosch’s second-generation e-Axles.
