UKDennis Eagle, a subsidiary of the Terberg Group based in Warwick, UK, has won a tender submitted by Birmingham City Council for 151 refuse collection vehicles.

The contract signed by Dennis Eagle includes an order for 110 ‘Elite+’ trucks, of which an unspecified number will be ‘narrow’ chassis variants for navigating the inner city. The remaining 41 are 7.5-tonne ‘Orus’ trucks for organic waste collection. The vehicles will come equipped with cameras to provide additional visibility and low-level access points for safer entry and exit.
