Pelican to introduce new Yutong battery electric truck to British market in Q2 2025

UK / China – Pelican Engineering Co Ltd of Castleford, UK has announced that it will introduce a new battery electric truck – produced by Chinese manufacturer Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co Ltd – to the British market in the second quarter of this year.

As with Yutong’s bus and coach products, Pelican will be the exclusive sales and service provider for the new truck. The vehicle, called ‘T75e’, has a weight rating of 7.5 tonnes and an unladen chassis-cab weight under 3,000 kilograms. Multiple rigid configurations will be offered, including box van, curtain-sided, tipper, compactor, and insulated bodies.
