Argentina / Italy Iveco Bus (a brand of the Iveco Group NV) based in Turin, has announced it delivered its first compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to Argentina in late 2024.

The initial fleet of 20 natural gas-powered urban buses was delivered to the city of Córdoba. These buses, equipped with the 17-210 chassis and FPT N60 CNG engines, were produced at Iveco's subsidiary Iveco Argentina S.A. at its plant in Córdoba with bodies supplied by Italbus S.A. of Avellaneda, Buenos Aires. Iveco states the vehicles offer a range of up to 350 km and provide significant environmental benefits, including reductions in particulates, nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide, and noise levels.
