China’s Deepway breaks ground on new heavy truck plant

China - Anhui DeepWay Technology Company (Deepway), a manufacturer of battery-powered commercial vehicles headquartered in Beijing, China, has begun construction of a new heavy-duty truck plant in Huzhou city, Zhejiang province, according to local reports.
The company held a ground-breaking ceremony in early February for the smart factory, which will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 smart, battery-powered heavy trucks once its becomes fully operational.
