Geely expands into Pakistan CV market

Farizons new energy commercial vehicle range

Pakistan / China - Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, headquartered in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, has signed an agreement with Pakistan’s HRL Engineering Group and Capital Smart Motors (CSM), to establish a partnership to sell its Farizon-branded new energy commercial vehicles in the local market.

Geely has agreed to establish a joint venture with HRL, a local industrial and engineering group, and CSM, to sell a full range of Farizon commercial vehicles in Pakistan, including hybrid and battery-powered models. The commercial vehicles will be initially imported as completely built-up units (CBU) from China, with a plant to be built later on to assemble completely knocked down (CKD) kits - once sales operations are up and running.
