Tiger delivers 35 custom trailers to Asda

'High cube' trailer built by Tiger for Asda

UK – Tiger Trailers Ltd of Winsford, UK has delivered thirty-five highly specialised box van semi-trailers, boasting internal tail-lifts, to Leeds-based supermarket chain Asda Stores Ltd.

Tiger built 35 so-called “high cube” trailers, measuring 4.9 metres in height. Nine horizontal tracks with 150 load-securing bars allow the operator to manoeuvre and position a Dhollandia side-mounted platform up and down the length of the trailer. The internal tail-lift can carry up to 500 kilograms in weight and has a safety gate installed.
