VECV secures major city bus and truck order from Uttar Pradesh Transport Corp

Eicher secures 1,663 vehicle order from Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation
India – Commercial vehicle manufacturer, VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (VECV) of Pithampur - the joint-venture subsidiary of Sweden’s Volvo AB and Eicher Motors Ltd of Gurugram (New Delhi), India – has received an order for 1,663 vehicles, 1,621 buses and 42 heavy-duty trucks from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
This order includes: 1,344 units of the LMD built-up non-a/c bus range (i.e. Skyline Pro 3011 L2 and Skyline Pro 3010 L3); 197 of the Eicher Pro CNG 60161 12m AC Buses; 80 Eicher Pro 6016 CNG bus cowl chassis and 42 Eicher Pro 30194 trucks for passenger transportation, logistics and parts transportation.
