CATL-Synland unveils new chassis for electric LCVs

CATL-Synland launches new Kunshi electric truck chassis in Shenzhen

China - Suzhou Times Xin'an Energy Technology Company (Synland), a subsidiary of China’s largest electric vehicle (EV) battery producer Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited (CATL), has completed the development of a chassis designed for battery-powered light commercial vehicles.

The new Kunshi “skateboard” chassis was unveiled at the 2025 International Smart Mobility, Auto Modification and Automotive Service Industry Ecological Expo in Shenzhen at the end of February. It was developed to support the transition to zero-emission urban logistics, by offering an extended range and faster charging option to light commercial vehicle manufacturers and logistics companies. The chassis also provides enhanced payload capacity.
