GAC Hino, GAC Energy sign CV charging agreement

GAC Hino and GAC Energy in strategy NECV recharging partnership
China / Japan - GAC Hino Motors Company Ltd, the Guangzhou-headquartered joint venture between Japanese truck-maker Hino Motors Ltd and Chinese state-owned automaker GAC Group, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with GAC Energy Technology Company Ltd for the development of a “comprehensive energy ecosystem for new energy commercial vehicles (NECVs).”
GAC Hino confirmed that the collaboration is to focus on strengthening the company’s existing charging network and on “implementing an integrated vehicle-pile synergy model to address industry-wide challenges related to insufficient charging infrastructure.”
