Wrightbus secures GBP150m finance package from HSBC

UK – Wrightbus Ltd, a bus manufacturer based in Ballymena, UK, has secured a finance package worth GBP150m from British banking corporation HSBC to fund production ramp-up and new vehicle development.
Wrightbus says the financial support will fund the long build-cycle of its buses, enabling it to accelerate production at its bus plants. The money will also support the development of new technologies, as well as more recent products and services such as its Chinese-derived vehicles (sold under the ‘Rightech’ brand) and its retrofit business (called ‘NewPower’).
