KPIT Technologies GmbH invests €1.37 million in Tunisian subsidiary

Tunisia / Germany / India - KPIT Technologies GmbH, the German subsidiary of KPIT Technologies Ltd of Pune has invested €1.37 million in its wholly owned Tunisian subsidiary, KPIT engineering SUARL, through the issuance of 451,110 shares. According to the company's disclosure, the transaction will have no impact on the business operations or financial reporting of the parent company in India.
Established on May 5, 2023, and based in Sfax, Tunisia, KPIT engineering SUARL currently employs 574 people and functions as a dedicated nearshore development centre for Technica GmbH, a cybersecurity, IT services, and AI/Machine Learning company based in Munich, its sole customer. This capital infusion strengthens KPIT’s nearshore capabilities in North Africa and enhances its ability to deliver specialized engineering services for the European market.
