Germany / Poland – German Bus OEM Arthur Bus GmbH based in Munich, confirmed a contract worth over EUR 15 million to supply 20 hydrogen fuel cell buses, along with related services, to the city of Lublin in Poland. These new buses are expected to begin operating in early 2026, with the project backed by both national and EU funding initiatives. The company recently opened a new 10,000-square-meter production facility in Lublin, Poland, as part of its efforts to expand across Europe. The plant is set up to manufacture several hundred hydrogen-powered buses each year.

In a strategic move to bolster hydrogen infrastructure, Arthur Bus has partnered with Austria's Wolftank Group to develop mobile hydrogen refuelling systems tailored for public transport. This collaboration aims to address the current challenges posed by limited hydrogen refuelling infrastructure, ensuring that operators can seamlessly integrate hydrogen buses into their fleets.
