Isuzu launches D-Max EV LHR production in Thailand

Isuzu’s new D-Max EV

Thailand / Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd, headquartered in Yokohama City in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture, announced that it has begun mass production of its new battery-powered D-Max pickup truck in Thailand, with exports to Europe scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year. The model was first unveiled at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show just over a year ago.

Isuzu confirmed that it is currently producing only left-hand drive versions of the D-Max, with right-hand-drive models not scheduled for production until the end of the year. This means the battery-powered pickup truck will not go on sale in Thailand and in other right-hand markets in the region until 2026.
