Valeo boosts EV manufacturing with expanded Pune facility

India / France – Automotive supplier, Valeo India Pvt. Ltd.1 (a subsidiary of the Valeo Group of Paris, France) of Bengaluru, has expanded its manufacturing capabilities in India with the inauguration of new, state-of-the-art production and assembly lines at its Pune facility. This strategic move underscores Valeo’s commitment to supporting India’s electric mobility transition.
The upgraded facility will manufacture the advanced 3-in-1 Combo Unit, which integrates an On-Board Charger (7–22kW), DC-DC Converter, and Power Distribution Unit — all critical components for electric vehicles. This innovation is designed to offer cost-effective, high-performance solutions tailored to the needs of Indian OEMs, while boosting local value addition and localization in the EV supply chain.
