Volvo UK introduces dynamic load management technology at truck and bus centre in Enfield

UK – Volvo Group UK & Ireland Ltd of Warwick, UK has introduced dynamic load management technology, supplied by British firm Swarco Smart Charging Ltd, at its sales centre in Enfield to demonstrate the benefits of “intelligent” charging.
The dynamic load management system, supplied by Swarco brand ‘Evolt Charging’, is being used in conjunction with a stationary battery provided by Connected Energy. When charging points are connected to the system, energy is distributed in a way that “ensures the constant availability of power” to each vehicle, according to Evolt. For example, the system automatically identifies unused capacity at one charger and will distribute it to another charger which is in use.
