FAW steps up global expansion under its “Sprint 2030” strategy

China - FAW Trucks, the commercial vehicle division of the Chinese state-owned automaker FAW Group Corporation, based in Changchun, announced it is stepping up its global expansion under its “Sprint 2030” strategy, launched at the end of last year.

At the annual board meeting in early July, the company’s directors approved a CNY 498 million (USD 68 million) budget to establish wholly-owned subsidiaries in eight key overseas markets – including Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and three additional unnamed countries.
