Hungary / South Korea – Hankook Tire & Technology of Seongnam-si, South Korea, has launched the new generation Vantra Transit, a new summer tyre specifically developed for vans and light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes (GVW) vehicles. The Vantra Transit is designed to meet demand from logistics providers, last-mile delivery fleets and tradespeople. The Vantra Transit enters the market with 32 available sizes ranging from 13 to 17 inches in rim diameter, providing broad compatibility across Europe’s most popular van and light truck models. Series production has already commenced, and the tyre is available to order from Hankook distributors and dealers across Europe. The Vantra line is manufactured at Hankook’s European plant in Rácalmás, Hungary

The Vantra Transit delivers a 15% reduction in rolling resistance and an 18% mileage improvement over its predecessor, helping fleet operators cut fuel or energy costs. It also offers better wet performance, with 9% shorter braking distances and 13% more lateral grip, thanks to Hankook’s 3D GripControl sipes and reinforced tread.
