UD launches new Kuzer light truck in Malaysia

Malaysia / Japan - Truck-maker UD Trucks Corporation, headquartered in Ageo, Saitama Prefecture, has launched its new Kuzer light-duty truck designed for international markets, with Malaysia being the first market to take delivery of the truck. The Kuzer is to be rolled out in markets across the Asia-Pacific and elsewhere over the next year.

The new Kuzer in based on Isuzu Motor’s N-Series (Elf) light truck and is available with 7.5 and 8.5 tons GVWs, with the newly developed light-weight chassis allowing for additional payload capacity. It is powered by Isuzu’s 4HK1-TCN 5.2L engine and comes with standard features such as ABS, EBD, ASR, SRS airbags, and LED headlamps, as well as security systems including immobilizer, central locking, and remote keyless entry.
