Peru’s commercial vehicle sales grow by 28.3% in in the first half of the year

Peru - Sales of heavy-duty commercial vehicles (trucks and buses) in Peru grew by 28.3% in the first half of this year. According to data from the AAP (Peruvian Automotive Association), sales reached 11,290 units, compared with 8,801 in the same period in 2024, including 9,443 trucks and 1,847 buses and minibuses.

The truck and tractor unit segment reached 9,443 units, representing a 25.7% increase compared with the same period in 2024 (7,515 vehicles). In June, sales reached 1,675 units, a 45.8% increase compared with the same month last year.
