Sinotruk strengthens lead in China’s heavy truck sector

China - China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHDT), widely known as Sinotruk and headquartered in Jinan, Shandong Province, strengthened its position as China’s leading heavy truck manufacturer in the first half of 2025, with a total of 148,796 deliveries, equivalent to almost 28% of the industry’s total heavy truck output. In June alone, Sinotruk sold a total of 24,625 heavy trucks – almost 30% higher than in the same month last year and the fifth consecutive month of growth for the company.

Overall sales of heavy trucks by Chinese manufacturers in China rose by almost 7% to 539,190 units in the first six months of the year, the company revealed, citing industry data.
