Morocco/ USA / Hong Kong - Electric commercial vehicle manufacturing start-up, Cenntro Inc based in Freehold, New Jersey (owned by Cenntro Electric Group Ltd based in Hong Kong*), announced that it has partnered with Electricove Maroc, a Casablanca-based EV distributor, to launch local assembly operations for Cenntro models in Morocco. Under the deal, Electricove will assemble Cenntro’s Teemak and Logistar 450 (LS450) models in Casablanca, targeting both the domestic and wider North African markets. Production is expected to start in Q4 2025. This is a part of Cenntro’s plan to establish decentralised assembly hubs globally that serve local territories.

Cenntro “will supply vehicle kits, technical documentation, training, and engineering support to help Electricove build local capability”. The agreement builds on several years of distribution collaboration between the two companies. It benefits from strong support by the Moroccan government and business authorities.
